First Lesson: This problem based technology lesson allows the students to devise a survey about eating and exercising habits among first grade students in their school. Critical thinking skills will come into play after graphing the results and deciding how children become obese.

Eating Habits in Other Countries Second Lesson: This second lesson involves a social networking/online collaboration component. Students will skype or email students from other countries using epal to ask them the same questions on the survey that were asked of their classmates in Lesson #1. Students will compare the results. They will then check using research engines to find the obesity rate in other countries.

Nutrition, Exercise and Obesity Come to Life
Third Lesson: This lesson involves digital story-telling where students can make all the facts and information they have learned about (Nutrition, Exercise and Obesity) come to life. Students will have the opportunity to become a nutritious food, a nutrition reporter, exercise instructor and tell facts through digital story-telling.
